On 27 November the Steel Construction Day 2013 will take place in Luxembourg.
This event will be the opportunity to refresh our knowledge through the ExpoAcier, discover new innovative products and meet key stakeholders from the steel industry. The Steel Construction Day targets in Belgium and Luxembourg architects, design offices, building owners, metal manufacturers, contractors, developers, governments and teachers.
A contest will reward the best steel constructions for 2013 in Luxembourg, the winners being announced at the end of the event. Some of them include our steels: thus, the FNEL building supported by the ArcelorMittal Foundation (Luxembourg) takes part in the competition.
Speakers from ArcelorMittal
Olivier Vassart and Louis-Guy Cajot from Long Carbon Europe will address the audience on topics related to fire protection of constructions and eco-design offices.
Jérôme Guth from Flat Carbon Europe will present flat products dedicated to construction.
Christophe Odenbreit, in charge of the ArcelorMittal Chair of Steel and Façade Engineering at the University of Luxembourg, will talk about the latest developments in steel and glass engineering.
