Two of our colleagues from our Research & Development center in Esch-sur-Alzette participated to the 8th edition of ‘Chercheurs à l’école’ to strengthen links between companies & schools.

From March 19 to 23, the FNR - Luxembourg National Research Fund - organised the programme that aims to introduce young people to researchers’ professional lives and encourage them to ask questions about research in Luxembourg.

Perla El Boueiz Nohra, Research Engineer and Teodora Bogdan, Senior Research Engineer shared their experience with the students respectively from the Lycée Michel-Rodange and the Athenée de Luxembourg in Luxembourg-city: from school to their current job going through university.

Our Belval and Rodange sites also welcomed two students for the Job Shadow day on March 26 organised by Jonk Entrepreneuren, the Fedil and the Chamber of trades. This project allows them to spend one day – like all the others – within a company and to become more familiar with the working world.

As last year, our teams participated to the Hello Future roadshow led by the Fedil with the Chamber of Commerce, Luxinnovation and the Luxemburgish government from January to June. Our training department joined the initiative and met 200 students in the Lycée Technique Emile Metz in Dommeldange on March 27. This was a good opportunity to make them discover our industry, our company and our know-how.
