R&D and digitalisation
Luxembourg is home to the global R&D center for Long Products. The 46 researchers at the Esch-sur-Alzette center work on the development of new products and the optimization of our production processes.
ResponsibleSteel
The Luxembourg plants based in Belval, Differdange and Rodange, with certain ArcelorMittal sites in Belgium and Germany, are the first in the world to have been declared, by independent verifiers, as meeting the “ResponsibleSteel™” requirements, the first multi-stakeholder standardization initiative and certification taken by the sector globally.
