The industrial culture supported by the Esch R&D team

The Global Research and Development Service hosted the Lycée des Arts et Métiers of Luxembourg for their traditional cultural and technical end-of-year visit. We took the BTS students in Automatic Engineering and Technical Engineering to the ArcelorMittal plant in Differdange.

For most of the students, this was the first time they visited an ArcelorMittal plant and they became familiar with this traditional steel making environment.

After the indoor presentation of the activities of the Research Center, the day continued in the installations of the electric oven. There was still a historic visit to do with the imposing "Groussgasmaschine", a huge gas turbine that once powered the site of Differdange.

Despite a rainy morning all the students left delighted and impressed by this visit.
