On the occasion of the Global Trade Union Action Day on Friday, September 13, the ArcelorMittal Staff Delegation in Luxembourg (steel perimeter) invited the Management of ArcelorMittal Long Products Luxembourg (LPL) for a seminar on health and safety at work.

During the half-day, participants were able to listen to the intervention of a member of the Chamber of Employees on the role of safety delegate, co-management and the right to disconnect.
Pierre Jacobs, CEO of ArcelorMittal Long Products Luxembourg, shared the health and safety results of his entity followed by Henri Reding, Head of Health and Safety ArcelorMittal Long Products Europe, for the results of the Long Products Europe segment. The Delegation then presented its approach to well-being at work, health and safety, highlighting the conventional provisions aimed at achieving the zero accident objective.

This event was an opportunity for all participants to observe a minute of silence for the victim of the accident that took place on July 24 at the Belval steelworks.
