Schlassgoart gallery becomes Galerie Go Art
With this new name, the gallery wishes to reaffirm its position as an important player in the Luxembourg artistic landscape, focused on promoting local talent by offering a unique space to exhibit their works.
Since its founding, the gallery has been involved in promoting Luxembourgish and international art. Housed in the Pavillon du Centenaire in Esch-sur-Alzette, offered to the city by ArcelorMittal for the centenary of the iron city, this non-profit institution goes beyond a simple exhibition space by offering favourable conditions for artists to present their work. Over the years, more than 200 artists have benefited from the gallery’s hospitality for more than 90 exhibitions, sponsored since the beginning by the ArcelorMittal Luxembourg Foundation.
Galerie Go Art
The gallery’s name change to "Galerie Go Art" symbolises the renewed commitment to contribute to Luxembourg’s cultural life. By modernising its identity, the gallery aims to reach a wider audience while retaining its initial objective: to support the local art scene and enrich the cultural offering in Esch-sur-Alzette.
Deeply linked to the steel industry since its creation, this shift reflects a desire to be seen not as a historical place in the eyes of the uninitiated, but as a dynamic place for contemporary art.

As the Galerie Go Art continues to adapt and grow, it stays true to its mission: supporting the local art community. With its new name, the Go Art Gallery invites everyone to discover art. Whether by directly supporting artists, discovering innovative exhibitions or engaging in cultural dialogue, the gallery remains the place where art lives in Esch.
