ESR Label - Responsible Company

ArcelorMittal in Luxembourg is committed to transforming its operations to contribute to the development of a resilient society. As a sign of this commitment, the organization has been certified ESR (Responsible Enterprise) since 2012.

What is the ESR label?

Issued by the National Institute for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (INDR) in Luxembourg, the ESR label - Responsible Company allows us to structure, formalize and promote our sustainability/CSR commitments, while promoting a continuous improvement approach.

ArcelorMittal in Luxembourg (Belval, Differdange, Rodange, Bissen and administrative sites) first obtained the ESR - Responsible Company label in 2012, which is renewed every 3 years. The labeling process highlights a wide variety of actions taken to integrate sustainability into our industrial activities and cross-functional functions.

The only national sustainability label, it also gives access to the European label “Responsibility Europe", label serving companies/organizations wishing to give their social and environmental commitments international recognition. Created at the initiative of the AFNOR Group (France), INDR (Luxembourg) and Ecoparc (Switzerland), it brings together leading, demanding and pragmatic CSR labels, demonstrating real added value and contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

We are thus one of the more than 300 companies labeled ESR, one of the largest networks of responsible companies in Europe, demonstrating our commitment to adopting responsible behavior towards our internal and external stakeholders.

By renewing its ESR label, ArcelorMittal in Luxembourg confirms its position as a responsible economic player contributing to the sustainable development of the Grand Duchy.
