The Dudelange plant belongs to ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products that produces slabs, hot-rolled coil, cold-rolled coil, coated steel products, tinplate and heavy plates to automotive, construction, packaging and appliances.
The plant was created in 1980. In 2007, "Arcelor Dudelange", commonly known under the name "Galvalange", and "Ewald Giebel Luxembourg" gathered to form one single industrial pole: ArcelorMittal Dudelange. The plant is integrated to the Atlantique - Lorraine perimeter (which includes the plants of Florange, Basse-Indre, Mouzon, Montataire, Dunkerque, Mardyck and Desvres in France).
It mainly produces coated coils with Aluzinc® (building & industry), Alusi® (automotive & domestic appliances) and Usibor® (automotive). Electrogalvanised is intended for general industry (metallic furniture, domestic appliances).
